- Who is this for?
- Boards of directors, executive teams, and individual leaders working one to one. The work assumes seniority and decision-making authority rather than a technical background: the argument of the practice is that AI adoption fails on ownership and the org chart, so it has to be driven by the people who run the business.
- Is this training, or consultancy?
- Consultancy delivered through working sessions. Sessions run on your data and your problems rather than a fixed curriculum, and the test is what your team has on Monday that it did not have on Friday. If what you want is a generic tutorial, the honest answer is that there are free ones on YouTube.
- How is a session structured?
- Half-day intensives, on-site or virtual. Engagements are focused and objective oriented, typically starting with one session and expanding into regular or a set number of strategic sessions. Every session is followed by a written summary and a follow-up call.
- Which models and tools do you cover?
- Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and NotebookLM, Grok, Mistral, Aleph Alpha, Meta, and Ollama for local and offline deployment. Which ones appear in a session depends on the problem you bring: the point is to work on your material with the tools that suit it, not to tour a catalogue.
- Can you work with confidential or regulated data?
- Yes, and it is a large part of the practice. Sovereign and on-premise deployment, air-gapped open-weight models, and data classification are core topics, alongside EU AI Act compliance, governance and red teaming. Michael Stout holds active UK security clearance and is a contractor with the UK MoD.
- Do you build things, or only advise?
- Build. The practice is active and applied: training models, data pipelines, RAG implementations, edge systems and agentic workflows. Sessions are hands-on and end with something running rather than with a slide deck.
- Where do you work?
- Sessions run on-site or virtually. The practice works with organizations in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, and Canada.
- How do we start?
- Book a 15-minute call. It is used to evaluate one operational bottleneck and decide whether a session is the right answer. If it is not, you will be told so.
